DJ Mannie Fresh, the New Orleans born music whiz, will be in the building and he’s coming to show us how to celebrate Mardi Gras, NOLA style. The longtime DJ, rapper, and producer knows a thing or two about partying so he’ll have the tunes to entertain you and keep the party pumping all night long. Having you feel like a member of Cash Money Records taking over for the ‘99 and the 2000s.
There’ll be 3 DJs plus the N.O. Hustlers Brass Band in the mix, playing a wide variety of music from old school, new school, and of course some NOLA classics, and everything in between. Speaking of in the mix, don’t forget to dress to impress because InDMix will be in the building snapping away. So dress up, and get fancy at this semi formal Mardi Gras Ball.
And it all takes place at one of the hottest nightclubs in the city, the Velvet Room. A gorgeous deluxe style layout where you can lounge, dance, pop bottles, and live it up with the baddest men and women in the city.

They just finished playing a gig at SeaWorld Texas Mardi Gras event and now they’re bringing the tunes straight to you. With the accordion, drums, guitar, and washboard to match, that’ll have you up on your feet two stepping to the beat.

You can spend time on the water at Galveston Bay while your babes enjoy exploring the Boardwalk during the Mardi Gras parade. They can have so much fun watching the Yachty Gras Boat Parade, eating funnel cakes, and playing with crafts on the boardwalk too.

Restaurant, bar, and music venue The Rustic is hosting its annual Fat Tuesday Mardi Craw celebration, and it’s happening at both their Downtown and Post Oak locations!

For a Bayou classic on a plate, head out to Brennan’s Creole Restaurant on Fat Tuesday, or any day of the week, as Creole and Southern foods are their specialties.
For starters, you can begin with the classic gumbo, a poboy for your entree, and finish it off with Creole Bread Pudding and a slice of Southern Pecan Pie for dessert. Or mix it up as you choose, as they have a heap of Southern goodies you can select from on their menu.
Their first Cajun restaurant was in New Orleans, and 50 years later they’re still here, serving up traditional Creole foods with a hint of Southern hospitality. Reservations are accepted by phone only.
