Love, It’s A Work Of Art

 

All Access Art Show has love down to a fine art! Come Friday, February 4th, they’ll have the entire space at Finn Hall decked out in the loveliest way. Because representation matters, you’ll get a chance to see the talented artists in our community show off some of their original pieces.

 

This is a space to be entertained in the most creative way. It’s an entire space for creatives, art lovers, and the whole art community. You’ll find a beautifully done art gallery, vendors with food, drinks, and other products, and a slew of entertainment to fill the evening.

 

Get inspired for valentines day with this love themed event, at the All Access Art Market.

Relieve some stress and get your laugh on at this free comedy event. Behind The Comics have got something special in store for you, new and old comics coming to the stage to see who can make you laugh the hardest. Come hear some funny jokes, enjoy food, drinks, and music too. Because we all need a good laugh sometimes, as they say, “life without laughter ain’t living.”

Bands, Booze, & Tattoos is a unique music event with various types of genres gathered in one place to put on a stellar performance for you. You can listen to some of the hottest bands in Houston play you some of their original tunes. It’s a great creative atmosphere, and a place for you to find your tribe.


While you’re there, get inked up as much as you want from some local tattoo artists. Meet and greet with tattoo artists, enjoy brunch, live music, drinks, and vendors going on this Sunday.

Ehh, what’s up Doc? Nothing, just a bunch of your favorite Looney Tune characters chilling out in one place. You could find a bunch of adorable familiar faces like Taz, Daffy Duck, the Road Runner, Tweety, Lola Bunny, and last but not least, even the world famous Bugs Bunny.

 

They will absolutely love making these colorful paintings. They could spend the whole afternoon creating their own Looney Tunes characters, or even adding a creative twist to it, and inventing their own characters. It’s a friendly environment where they can have fun meeting children their age and create art for art’s sake. So bring your babies out to this awesome family centered event for a fun time out together.

Art Imitates Life In Some Of The Best Ways

 

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, what about a painting? Or an exhibit full of artwork? The best art comes from our lives, our culture, and our everyday experiences. This is a place where you can find yourself in a masterpiece. Welcome to Culture, Our New Norm.

 

PVAMU, Bisong Art Gallery, and Dream Affect Foundation come together to bring you an art event that’s reflective of our cultural experience. Using sculptures, paintings, and drawings that are expressive in every way.

 

It’s a wonderful opportunity to boldly showcase different sides of our culture through an event that includes an art exhibit, a scholarship fundraiser, and a discussion centered around us. The gallery is full of vivid imagery that’s used to discuss our human experience, all in a social environment.

 

Come see what’s on display at this multi purpose event held at the Prairie View A&M University Houston Campus. It’s a chance to look at our culture through the lens of art, in a way that inspires us and drives us to do more creative things.

It’s a day filled with everything you can think of from Black entrepreneurs and business owners from all over Houston. They’ll gather in one place for one purpose, and that’s to celebrate Black excellence.

 

This is a huge collaboration with over 50 Black owned vendors and businesses. Showing you their best in delicious foods and desserts, educational books, creative arts and crafts, fashionable clothing and jewelry, fresh bath, body, and wellness products, services and so much more.

 

There’s also an opportunity for the young entrepreneur in your life to showcase their business and win a scholarship that could enable them to push forward and expand their business goals!

 

This is a free event with giveaways and lots of products and services to choose from. All this, and more takes place on Sunday February 13th at The Bayou City Event Center.
